The clock is ticking.  Baby boomers are preparing to slow down or retire.  Skill deficiencies in the replacement talent pool are increasing.  Globalization and technology are changing the future and nature of work.  As a result, companies are facing unprecedented challenges and looking to HR to lead and manage the change.  Participants attending this presentation will learn:  1) the most significant trends that are changing the nature of work and the workplace; 2) how these trends are challenging and threatening the HR and leadership norms; and 3) how best-in-class companies are responding to recruitment, retention, and leadership challenges.

Presenting this topic, Ira Wolfe is President of Success Performance Solutions (SPS), a pre-employment and leadership testing firm he founded in 1996.  His clients include small and mid-sized businesses in over a dozen industries.  Ira is recognized as a thought leader in the talent management industry and considered an expert in pre-employment personality tests, workforce trends, and social media.  Ira is a prolific author, columnist, business blogger and sought-after-speaker and expert on hiring and workplace trends.  Ira is the author of the new book Geeks, Geezers, and Googlization: How to Manage the Unprecedented Convergence of the Wired, the Tired, and Technology in the Workplace.  His other books include The Perfect Labor Storm 2.0, The Perfect Labor Storm Fact Book, and Understanding Business Values and Motivators.
