The session will provide an overview of the widely used and successful approach to flexible work systems pioneered by Rupert & Company and proven in hundreds of US and global companies. A full toolkit will be reviewed, but the interactive focus will be on the formal request- and-decision tool and process at the heart of these systems. As participants:
- you will learn the design of the form and its intended use
- you will learn the application of the decision-making tool to realistic scenarios
- you will learn how applicant variables can affect outcomes
- you will learn the value of different support tools and their possible combinations
SPEAKER: Paul Rupert, President, Rupert & Company
Paul Rupert is president of Washington, DC-based Rupert & Company. Paul has been a pioneer in flexible schedules and management for 40 years. He developed flexible schedules as a powerful recruiting tool in a medical start-up in 1972, and several firms after that. Paul has managed remotely staffed and mobile consulting organizations for three decades as Associate Director of New Ways to Work (San Francisco), Flexibility Practice Leader of WFD Consulting (Boston) and President of his own firm in DC since 2000. He has served more than 100 clients ranging from Amgen and Colgate to Sodexo and Toyota. A graduate of Stanford University, Paul Rupert is considered a thought leader in the flexibility field and is quoted regularly in the national media from the Wall Street Journal to NPR.
This meeting is approved for 1 HR (General) recertification credit toward PHR, SPHR, and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.

CALZONE: Ricotta cheese, mozzarellea cheese, pepperoni, sausage and ham
