MEETING INFORMATION:
Topic 1
“How to Document Employee Discussions and Why That is Important”
Program Description: There are several employment law statutes that require documentation. We will cover four in particular: The ADA, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the FMLA and the FLSA. But documentation is required in a number of other areas. We will talk about those areas in addition to how documentation will not only help but it can also hurt the company. Examples of poor documentation will be given. Types of tools that can be used will also be covered. We will conclude with the five steps necessary for proper documentation.
Topic 2
“The Top 5 HR Mistakes That Businesses Make”
Program Description: There are many mistakes that companies make when it comes to employees and employment. In my experience these mistakes include:

- Ignoring government regulations
